This is true with the caveat that a Mac oriented company is more 
likely to be able to give you meaningful tech support if you have a 
problem.   Usually, these devices are trouble-free so that's not 
always relevant.  But for that reason I tend to prefer Asante because 
I've always gotten great response from their tech support.  YMMV.
