I think you misunderstood my remark. It was one of expectations. Yes, my 8500 G3 266 512MB RAM OS 9.1 is a fine machine. One of the reasons that I keep it is that it used to belong to Industrial Light & Magic and has stickers with "George Lucas LTD" and "ILM MAC 113" on it. I named it Vader. It rocks. BUT, it is never going to be a 21st century Mac. Unless you've had experience with accelerator upgrades you may not realize exactly what the upgrade does and does not do. It speeds the cpu. Period. There's more than processor speed to a computer. That's all that I wanted to convey to the person considering the upgrade. ===== Rondo __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
