Yes, I guess having a terminator on 1 (either 1) will do.

The Apple-monitor-like plug (does it have 15 pins?) may be an A/AUI 
ethernet port (to put the scanner on a network.)

If it's not 15-pin, who knows? If it's a lot more than 15 (25? 39?) it 
would probably be a parallel port.
