Apple-rommed means that the drive is recognized as a bootable device by the system, and on IDE drives doen's tactually refer to a rom on the device at all (though I think it did apply to SCSI HDD's and perhaps CDRoms as well) So no you can't change a non-booting drive into a booting drive via firmware. That said, there are a LOT of drives out there now that the Mac will boot from, if you have a more modern one. > 2) What does B&W stand for when describing a G3? Blue and White.
