Get more memory. With more memory, the 9600 will probably feel faster than the G3 in many respects, slower in others. The 800 MHz G4 will help. Get XPost Facto: <http://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/XPostFacto/framework.cfm> Free and it works well. Version 3, out sometime soon, will be better. Big big thing though.
