This PCI card finally works, but I see it originally shipped with 'SofRaid'
software, which I did not get and which seems to cost $159.95, if I have done
my homework correctly ...

The VST UltraTek/66 card, retail package, which also included the close-out
at OWC, always came "bundled" with SoftRAID.

If you didn't get a real SoftRAID CD-ROM with you UltraTek/66, then someone
shorted you in the deal.

The package also included two "two headed" 80-wire/40-pin cables, and one
Wye-type power cable.

IOW, the UltraTek/66 package gave you everything you needed to have to
establish a RAID configuration, in the one retail package ... even when OWC
was liquidating these packages for $49.99.
