As you know, I have been trying to install iMovie 1 from the original CD. The firewire ext called "Firewire Enabler" is now on and also the two extensions called "QuickTime FireWire DV Enabler" and "QuickTime FireWire DV Support". But no go, I get "This program cannot run on your computer. See the documentation for more information." when trying the installer ...
So maybe it is looking for a firewire port after all. I guess the next move is to buy a firewire PCI card - it will not be wasted.
