I did some more digging with this iMic and iTunes under OS X 10.2.4.

Setup:
9500 Sonnet G4 700 Mhz card, 768 Megs of Ram
Sonnet Tempo Trio Card
Maxtor 120 Gig IDE hard drive.

Now, iTunes 3 seems to play songs ok while NOTHING else is running. But
as soon as you start like Safari, or IE, or anything, I hear distortion
in the sound. I'm wondering whether or not this is because of the USB
iMic or.......something else? Would a real audio card help the situation?

I also tried swapping out the sonnet Trio card with an IDE 100 card
(Sonnet) and a Sonnet Tempo (Firewire/USB) and it has the exact same
problems.

This machine works great in every other way except iTunes play back.........

Thanks in advance
