Then if I want expandability with a card that is "in line" with the bus

an internal burner, but SCSI's are hard to come by and IDE/ATA's come
"a dime a dozen."

Yamaha's top-of-the-line model ... the one with "printing" on the face of the

Should I even worry about the "speed" (66 vs 100 vs 133)? Does it make
any difference about the speed of the mobo's bus? It doesn't create a
bottleneck of any sort transferring information between the comp and
the drives I might have attached to that card?
ACARDs will allow the use of CD-RWs?

The UATA/66 cards aren't specifically compatible.

Some of the UATA/133 cards claim to be compatible.

Otherwise, the speed really doesn't make that much difference.

So, go for specific compatibility with CD-R/Ws, and not speed.
