Be aware of the Audio/Video problems with IDE cards on PCI macs. I have 2 9500s, and one everything works great on (40gig IDE hard drive), and the other stutters and is a pain in the ass.
Your mileage will vary. I do recommend getting a ACARD 7720, which allows you to use IDE drives on the SCSI chain. Pretty much eliminated the problem on the 9500.
