A good place to start is the 6400 zone <http://www.zone6400.com/> 
which also covers the 6500.   If you can find/afford it, a retail OS 
9.0.x or 9.1 disk would be a good way to re-initialize the drive and 
install OS 9.1 (Use the 9.1 update if you get a 9.0.x CD).
