---I was using 8.6, now have 9.1. Both didn't help. I
did try switching ports-no luck. What happens when i
try to print, is I get a"Need to choose a printer from
the chooser. I choose my CSW 4100. Try to print and
AGAIN I get the "Need to choose a printer message. I
chose the exact same modem i'm using right now on my
performa. I even copied all the settings to put them
EXACTLY the same way as my performa. I tried Appletalk
on and off. I guy suggested the ports might be dead
because of a previous crash. He said there's a port
enabler but he couldn't remember where he found it. I
know a certified mac technician here but I was trying
to fix it myself. He and I have become friends(meaning
I go to him a lot with problems.) I was trying to do
this on my own so to speak. Thanks anyway>>David
