Apparently there is some (a little) USB 2 support for Macs, at least according to this page:
http://www.macopinion.com/columns/roadwarrior/02/12/24/ . And I have no idea whether my Belkin 2-port USB PCI card is V.1 or V.2; the former I would guess since it's a couple years old. Also, from what the article states, I MIGHT be able to get the Sony CD-RW to work at the USB 1.1 speed; that would be fine with me. I won't know until the OS 9.1 disk arrives and I get both the new OS and Toast installed. If no go, I will have one almost-new Sony CD-RW for sale. Cheap.
