If you can extract tracks from audio CDs and play them, then you should be able to
play them directly off the CD with no additional hardware.
What software are you trying to play the CD tracks with? What software do you use for
ripping ('extracting' ) audio tracks? What CD-ROM driver are you using? Does an audio
CD mount, allowing you to see the tracks in a Finder window?
