Exactly. If you have a powerful computer with lots of memory (and a
broadband connection) it is a moot point and virtually unnoticeable. Not so
on my 7300/180. It is hella irritating, which is a shame because I like
Netscape, especially the new one with the tabbed browsing. And iCab and
Opera, on my computer, didn't seem any better than IE, so what's the point?
Stick with the proven winner, in my particular case, IE 5. I also keep IE
because I use Outlook Express for mail and usenet. I like Eudora a little
better, but it doesn't do newsgroups and I don't have the HD space for a
dedicated program for every single thing, so O.E. does ok.
