Angus,

Your Red flickering display can most likely be fixed
by resoldering the 
connections on the pc board
attached to the crt tube itself. You have to remove
the case and 
unsolder the metal shield on the
back of the tube to gain access to the solder side of
this board. I 
have fixed many displays by
doing this. Make sure the display is unplugged from
the ac power.

I recently picked up a multiscan 15 which mostly has a
blue cast to it, although occasionally it will
temporarily display as it should  with all colors as
they should be. Do I have the same problem??
