Picked up a 6500/225 today. On boot, it displays a black and white screen
that reminds me of a DOS boot.

It says:

Open Firmware 2.0.3
To continue booting the MacOS
type
BYE (Return)

To continue booting from the
default Boot Device type:
BOOT (Return)

Any idea where this comes from? I have searched through the system folder
for strange extensions and control panel but found nothing.

Also the thing has a IXMICRO's ixTV in one of the PCI slots. No software
loaded, but I found it on the macsales.com site. Haven't tried it yet.
Anyone know if it is any better/worse than the TV card/module from the
5/6xxx series?

Ken
