Hmmm. I have a rather large accumulation of Macs (must be nearly 100, 
from the 128 to G3 Powerbooks) and have never run into one with "access" 
to the Open Firmware at boot. A prior owner must have been mucking about 
with the thing. Is there some utility that causes the odd boot screen?
