OK, so here's a non-theoretical USB/Mac/camera question.

I'm thinking I might like to buy one of these off eBay:

By any chance, has anyone here actually used one of these Logitech cameras with a Macintosh and gotten the images out of the camera without need of special drivers? Or knows of a URL specifically addressing Mac compatibility with this particular camera?

Ideally, I would like to plug the camera into the USB port and have it show up on the desktop, ready to have it's pictures downloaded directly into Graphic Converter or into a folder on the desktop.

I see where Logitech had a driver for OS X, but it has since been pulled from their website.

As I'm not likely to be migrating to OS X anytime soon (OS 8.6 and holding), whether or not there is a Logitech OS X driver is a moot point for me.

Eventually, I'd like to get a better digital camera with a better resolution and a flash, but for now, I just want something for outdoor or well lit indoor snapshots. This particular camera seems to fit my current needs... As long as I can use it with my 5400/200.

As always, thanks in advance!
