I've recently started receiving spam to this email account.

The only thing I use this email account for is email lists.

I did a quick Google on this email address and found three lists with archives that
are storing my email address without obscuring it. This was one of the three.

I don't know if my address was reaped from this list's archives, but if not, it's only
a matter of time. Is there any way you can set the archives to save email addresses
obscured in some way? I can easily morph to a new address, but if it's just going to
get me spam to the new address, I can't see why it would be worth the effort.

The alternative is for me to leave the list. Though I doubt I'll be missed.

On the other hand, this isn't just my problem. The rest of you will be getting spam
too, sooner or later.

Address mangling works fine for newsgroups, but the list manager won't let me post
unless it's from the address that signed up for the list. So I'm afraid this has to be
tackled at the list software end.

Thank you for your attention.
