I don't know how to prove it to you. I can't find anything on RAID and OS X on the web. I tried google and ask.com. I can send you a screen shot of disk utility or something else? It is an HFS+ volume, does that matter. The mount point is "/". The articles don't say anything else about 10.2. I wouldn't be arguing if I didn't know absolutely 100% that it works. Let me know or anyone else on the list (because we won't shut up until its solved) how to send a screen shot of disk utility and I'll end this argument once and for all.
