Hope this not too OT. I have a network of 8 Macs some are PCI Macs. There is a SBC-Yahoo promotion running for DSL service (384 Kbps) in my area for $27/mo + free DSL modem after "instant rebate."
Any listers used this service? If so, any complaints or positive feedback would be appreciated. It seems for the basic service charge I could eliminate my Internet phone line, and actually save a buck or two per month. And I could also drop my conventional ISP and save another $20/mo. (I'll still keep AOL for a back-up at least for a while.) I'm on dial up so the speed increase is very attractive. SBC is a major telephone provider in the US and took over my regional phone company, one of the oldest in the US a couple of years ago. I am concerned with their track record. I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for. Any suggestions? Thanks --glen (digest mode) -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
