Thanks for that Anna:

There is, of course, the big ones iView, Extensis
Portfolio, and Cumulus, all of which had versions that
worked in 9, and I think the latest versions still do,
but these are all over $100. Newer versions of
Photoshop, that is 7 and CS can, I think, print
contacts as well, but won't actually manage the pix in
a database like the former 3. Not sure about the ones
Anna mentioned, but will look into them toute de
suite!

I too am in the market for an organizer, more to
organize the zillions of pix I have than to contact
sheet print them. I have yet to get any response on
the forums I've posted my questions on though. Most
people have picked an application for whatever
reason(s), and don't seem to know anything about the
others. Also there are lots of reviews on at a time,
but I haven't found a review that actually compares
them all.

Also, let's not forget iPhoto, which is of course only
for OSX, but it works, albeit slowly and is not for
high end users yet. Maybe by version 5 or 6 it will
be.

Nice to support Apple with their software
incarnations, but keeping the 3rd party app. companies
competing is also a worthy cause.
