I guess that's kinda my issue. I am seeing motherboards for as little as $30, and I'm just not sure its worth even the $120 when I can get a replacement motherboard with a CPU slot, and an upgraded CPU for another $100 or so new. The beige G3's (non-tower type) will supposedly work in the case, and I saw one of those with a 90 day warranty for $99. >In addition it's also a matter of budget and your comfort with swapping parts. I got this 7200/120 off eBay for $7.10, and after I got it I found out why: It was filthy. Evidently it was used in an industrial area, because there was all kinds of stuff in it that should never be near a circuit board. I actually enjoyed taking it apart: I'm used to PC's, and the case is SO MUCH SUPERIOR to any PC case I've ever built with. Its been working flawlessly since (well, except when I put 3.3v DIMM's in, and saw them go up in smoke; Still works though!). My last Mac before this was a Performa 636, so its been a bit :-) I'd forgotten how far superior MacOS is. The budget thing is a whole 'nother issue.
