Thank very much Russ, for the step by step instructions. They're a big help. I am practicing on the 6300 because I can't afford to damage the 6360.
8. Remove the (3) power connectors from power supply: (1) large one that is main power, (1) that goes to front of machine to power switch, and (1) for fan.
The one that goes to the front seems to be soldered to the power suply's board (6300). Maybe I doing something wrong? I am talking about the longest of all three. It runs underneath the floppy drive's base metal plate, and ends on the left side of the mother board conectors, underneath theCD drive base metal plate. I can see it, but can't unplug that end either.
