They slightly changed this case at one point, and the bracket on the fan is
sometimes not there.  My 636 doesn't have it, but my 6360 does.  I'm not
sure when it was done, so your 6300 may or may not have it.

Odd.  There should be a tan colored 2 prong one, the large one, and a thin
white one that's about 5/8 inch or so long.  It should just come right off
when pulled:  The connector type doesn't have a latch to release it.  Its
very thin, but I've never seen one that's actually soldered to the board
before.  This is the one that goes to the power switch.
