My elderly mother was getting so much garbage in her e-mail, she refused to use it anymore. Subsequently, I set up a rule in Outlook express that would only put mail in her inbox that was from a pre-approved list of friends, whose addresses I plugged into the rules. Now she can only be contacted by people that she has added to her list. Everything else goes into the deleted folder, or to any other folder you choose, if you want to check it prior to deletion. This is a blunt stroke solution, but it worked in her case. Perhaps it would work for your boys. The outlook express rules offer a powerful filtering tool and they are easy to learn. Tom
