Hey listies. I just finished setting up a 7200/90 for a small child of friends of mine. It's got Freddi Fish and some other children's stuff. I installed my old copy of 8.5.1 and upgraded to 8.6.
OK, so want I want to do is have a bootable CD, and image so when this little fella pooch's the computer it can be rebuilt by the parents! So, can I drop a system folder from an 8.6 CD onto a cd with the entire HDD as it exists (ie: copy the HDD icon from the desktop to my iMac DV and from there burn it down onto the same CD?) This would allow them to boot off the cd and just drag replace the HDD to the desktop. That' obviously too simple. The articles I've read are a bit vague including the one on LEM. Hope some one can help.
