I just finished setting up a 7200/90 for a small child of friends of mine.

OK, so want I want to do is have a bootable CD, and image so when this
little fella pooch's the computer it can be rebuilt by the parents!

Gareth,

We have set up 3 different LC575's for various little people. We also burned everything to a bootable CD for the same reasons you mentioned.

I found a fairly easy way to protect the system from little fingers, by using the Launcher. (always knew the Launcher had to be good for something) We put an alias of each program in the Launcher, and set the Launcher to automatically open on start up. We then locked the system folder and other critical items, so the little person could not alter or accidentally delete important items.

It seems to work. We have not received any panic phone calls.

Nancy
