Hi Again,

I'm finding something that kind of bothers me. I just tried Ical, and as soon as I attempt to edit a day in the calendar it errors out. My address book also errors out, as well as Ichat. Mail and Safari are also erroring out, Explorer works sometimes. It seems as though the programs that come with the os aren't working, while the ones that I install work fine. Right now I'm using Mozilla 1.7rc.3 and it hasn't errored out once.

Again, I'm on a 9600/G4 700 with 576mb of ram with an ati radeon 64mb video card. The stock 4gb scsi and a 25gb ide attached to an ata100 sonnet card. Running Mac OS 10.2.8 that I installed using xpostfacto and I also installed the sonnet tuneup utility. The OS is one that I purchased from ebay and according to the cdrom were originally for a ibook.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

Run Utilities > Disk Utility and repair permissions. That might fix it. If that doesn't do it, try downloading and applying the cumulative 10.2.8 update.
