OK, don't forget to tell us when you get more RAM whether you use it daily
and for what exactly. I have been skeptical of the wisdom of going down the
X road for serious work on a PCI Mac but I am most interested to hear
specifics, in particular the operation of the classic mode in X which then
enables one to go on using lower OS apps. From what I hear of people with
400 and even 800 imacs, this feature is a bit slow and I would not bet on it
being bearable to some of us on a PCI Mac with its bottleneck bus.
