The drive is a replacement that HP sent for a Windoze box and has been giving me a problem. Yes, the Mac just formatted and ran with it, but then failed it when I ran a drive test on it. I did not try writing too it. I am trying a low level format to see if it can be resurrected. So, how long should it take? Follow up question, am I wasting my time?
