Just picked up an 8500 on E-Bay for an O.K. price
I told the seller to keep the mouse and keyboard because I would like to use a USB Mouse and Keyboard. BIG MISTAKE.
Can someone suggest a make/model/chip-set USB card that will work on an 8500 Mac running Mac OS 9.1 with 32 megs of ram.
I have a B&W that I can use to load drivers and software onto the 8500 SCSI drive so I don't "need" a keyboard/mouse.
I am interested in installing a g3 upgrade card. The clearance between the CPU daughter card and the power supply is tight in my opinion. Will this cause a problem. I was interested in using an XLR8 ZIF upgrade card and an old G3-233 CPU that I have. I don't think I will have the required space.

Belkin cards work well. And you can get one at Office Max. Walmart quite carrying it.
The Zif adapter should work fine. An added fan is always welcome however.
Welcome to the list.
