With all due respect, I believe the B & W requires OS 8.5.1 to boot. Where 
did you find an 8.5.1 (or newer) floppy boot disk? Not mention the B/W does not 
have a floppy drive.

This should really go to the g-list according to pci-powermac list rules 
which are perhaps outdated. There is a lot less traffic on this list these 
days. 
When the rule was established it was necessary.

And there should be more B/W expertise on the g-list (well, maybe not;-).
