A standard 3.5 inch floppy when formatted for a PC has always been .72MB or 1.4MB using 8bit FAT. They have never been and nor will they ever be anything else! > Same for Zip drives. I swap an a single external zip drive and number of 100MB and 250MB zip disks formatted that way between all my machines. Mind you here's what that translates to. AthlonXP/2600 (WinXP) B-G3/300 (Yellow Dog Linux 4.0), K6-2/500 (Mandrake Linux 10.1), 6400/200 (OS 9.1) As you can see those machines really don't share much of anything. If the prices on Sawtooth's drop like I expect them to with the event of the Mini Mac. I'll be getting one of them so I can setup an OS X box. > OS X 10.4 is supposed to include NTFS volume support. > > That said, there's no solution for reading NTFS volumes on a Mac, > period, much less OS 9.
