Thank you Clint, Peter, Roger, Ralph, and Vern ... conclusion is that if I want to make changes on 100 pages that are already online, I have to do it one page at a time. What I have backed up can be changed all in one shot with find/replace but what's online, where each page is on its own editor (for example in GeoCities), has to be accessed and changed "one page at a time" ... somehow I feel that's what you are all saying.
Regarding the CSS site (see below), swimming in that tells me that I can put a thousand pages on the internet and still know next to nothing about the real technology here. I should have started 70 years ago. But swimming in these waters (not just Brighton Beach) is still refreshing. Thanks all ...
