They are not among the best "mainstream" boards, but they still
make good special and rare boards like Xeon or dual CPU boards,
or server boards. I doubt you'll find a "state-of-the-art"
mobo with an ISA slot, but, with SM and their "specialty"
boards, it may be a good one. I say they are not among the
best, more accurately may be they are not among the fastest
since dual CPU, Xeon, and server boards are usually used in
mission critical type apps, they must be pretty reliable; but
I've yet to see any of their typical P4 boards in any list of
top boards. They are not popular probably because of their
specialty market. The best thing to do is to do a search on
the model # at a search engine and look for reviews, tests,
ratings, etc. on it.

Does anyone have an opinion, good, bad or indifferent on
Supermicro motherboards? They have one with ISA slots which
works with a Pentium 4 and has a 800MHz front side bus.

I need a state of the art motherboard with ISA slots.

Thanks,

Tom
