I suggest using a NetGear or Linksys cable/DSL router. Not only can you hook
up up to 4 to 8 pc's (models very) you can also add a switch without the
firewall to add more ports later. You do not have to leave a PC on (save
engery) also leave the firewall resourses to the device. ZoneAlarm is still
good to leave on, but would dump the NAT on the XP box. Both routers (have a
10/100 switch built in) have NAT and many other features XP leaves out) and
are updated more often via firmware (3-6 months is usually when new updates
come out.)

I prefer NetGear over Linksys, but they are both good. NetGear's old name is
Bay Networks, so they have been in business for a while.
