OK Folk: The following worked for me. With win 98 SE, IE 5.5: With no Service Packs
Opened IE Window not full size Ran Regedit, Checked registry Key Closed registry Back to IE, clicked resize box to full size window Closed IE Ran Regedit, Checked registry Key, did not change Closed registry Opened IE, still full size Shut down IE Ran Reedit, Checked registry Key, did not change Closed registry Opened IE Window opened full size Shut down IE via File/Close (or clicked the X box, both worked the same) Shut down windows 98 Booted windows 98 Opened IE, window opened full size Ran Regedit, Checked registry Key, value changed This seemed to work for me. If it does not work for you, then I agree with Babs. I would rather click a little maximize box each time than keep a program running in the background.
