I know there was a very resent thread about this, which I did not pay attention to.....
My wife is using Outlook Express on her notebook. It is a fresh install of XP Professional with all updates (I had to reformat and reinstall after a bad Beagle/Bagel infection). Now Outlook Express prevents her from opening most attachments.
