For *truly* maximized, I just go to View and click "Full Screen" ... although THAT maximized makes me nervous (the taskbar becomes a popup and the upper right hand corner buttons [they have a name} become dark) ... but it sure is mazimized. Never ignoring any suggestions you make, I did go to Windows\Favorites\ and see no references that you make in your suggestion. I'm sure you mean something else, and I needn't tell you to say what you mean and mean what you say :) However, in my trip to that Favorites folder, I noticed something interesting: It lists a number of objects and one hidden objects. After making all files visible, I see the same number of objects with no additional (what was allegedly hidden object). Removing the "show all files" and again, the same number of objects with one hidden object indicated. What THAT all about? ...
