Harold that's MAXIMIZED, not FULL screen. That's two different
things. Remember we discussed this before. "Full screen" has
no toolbar (very tiny one) nor an address bar at the top.
Maximized is of course the maximize size the window can be
while the toolbar and address bar are still there, and at the
extreme upper right where you "X" out of a window; that area
will have the "-" minus sign first, and the "X" at the far
right, but in between them there will be that **double**
rectangle or **double** square icon indicating it's in
maximized mode. (A SINGLE square or rectangle in that area
means it's not maximized).

I don't have any hidden files or folders in my Favorites
folder. I'm not sure what "suggestions I made" you're
referring to since I can't see the email you're replying to,
it's not below.

Clint says ... Harold, you still haven't mentioned if *ALL* IE
windows are
now opening in *TRUE* MAXIMIZED screen. Fav's folder, desktop
shortcuts,
links in OE, etc. - -Clint

Response ... For *truly* maximized, I just go to View and click
"Full
Screen" ... although THAT maximized makes me nervous (the
taskbar becomes a
popup and the upper right hand corner buttons [they have a
name} become
dark) ... but it sure is mazimized.

Never ignoring any suggestions you make, I did go to
Windows\Favorites\ and
see no references that you make in your suggestion. I'm sure
you mean
something else, and I needn't tell you to say what you mean and
mean what
you say :)

However, in my trip to that Favorites folder, I noticed
something
interesting: It lists a number of objects and one hidden
objects. After
making all files visible, I see the same number of objects with
no
additional (what was allegedly hidden object). Removing the
"show all files"
and again, the same number of objects with one hidden object
indicated. What
THAT all about? ... Harold
