Howdy right back at ya!
I enjoy reading your missives, and especially Clint's frustration. That is
one uptight, humorless dude, even if he is quite knowledgeable.
Try this:Enable Thumbnail view in that folder, then see if thumbs.db shows
up. You have 98, if I recall properly, and it may be different than XP.
On the Window size deal:
The first one is IE-here you can determine the window size of Your web
browsing application(IE). There are often settings for applications that
don't apply to data files (A web page).
A web page will open to fully maximized if you click the Square in the upper
right corner. Press F11 and you'll get Kiosk mode (Biggest, no toolbars).
Press F11 again to reduce the size.
Staying busy here with wireless networks and web pages. Currently trying to
Learn Flash. Got a new (to me) truck and a digital camera and all is well
for the moment.

Howdy Hugh (long time no talk; I'm still gradually adding css to the pages),

I looked for "thumbs.db" and find no files like that in the system. What's
most puzzling is that the Favorites folder shows, in the Status Bar, that
there IS a hidden file there. When making all files visible, no additional
file shows up. When putting it back to "hide files" ... again, it indicates
that there IS an invisible file in the folder. How's them apples!!!

Sorry for the novel; I shouldn't be taking it out on the list that I might
be a frustrated writer. I know a Cervantes I'll never be; doubt if I could
even write for the Reader's Digest (and that's no big deal). Regarding this
email, I'm doing exactly as Clint suggested; if there is any zigzag, you
know whom to blame ... Harold
The first one allows for changing window size but not changing the URL; the
second one will allow for changing the URL but will never open to fully
maximum and has no provision for changing window size. Until I hear a
suggestion, I'm in this catch 22. Meanwhile, I'm wondering why there are two
types of shortcuts.
