In a way the problem is resolved. Although I don't have 98% resources free upon startup like you young'uns, I'm not having any unusual problem with the system. I feel better now having seen the following two pages:

I know that at my age, I never wake up in the morning with a 98% batting average so why should my 5 year old computer? I wonder what one year in computer life equals to in a man's life.
