Would using the "snapshot" tool built into Adobe Reader 6.0 work for you?  A possibile 
alternative would be PDF-SnapShot 
http://www.pdfstore.com/details.asp?ProdID=680  (works with the free Acrobat Reader 
6.0 to capture images)
