Have you tried the "snapshot" tool in Adobe Reader 6.0 - just capture the part you
want with the snapshot tool, which will be copied to the clipboard - paste the
clipboard contents into your word document. If that procedure will not work, do an
alt + prtscrn (print screen) to send the screen image to the clipboard - paste it
into "Paint" or some other editing program - trim/crop off what you don't need and
paste the finished image into your word document. (If the document has security to
prevent screen capture - caution should be used regarding copyright considerations
for the image you want to capture (copy) and re-publish.) If the resultant image is
of poor quality - set your screen resolution as high as possible and do it again. If
you need to do lots of this kind of work - you might explore using PDF-SnapShot
available at the PDFStore (it will save the captured image in 4 different formats
including PDF - and can add special effects to the image as an option) !
it works with Adobe Reader 6.0 or Acrobat 6.0
