There is no good reason whatsoever to "transform fonts to outlines before saving as 
PDF or EPS" from InDesign! Such transformations generally degrade the graphic quality 
of whatever is subsequently displayed or printed and really doesn't accomplish 
anything positive, unless of course you are trying to print to a buggy and/or obsolete 
RIP. Fonts should be embedded in exported EPS or PDF from InDesign for highest 
fidelity, searchability of PDF, PDF touch-up, and PDF repurposability!
