I expect they are bundled with an inkjet printer, or an adatptor
to let you view them on TV. I rarely watch television, so I am
not aware of the ads you mention, just surmising. Either that or
you are supposed to take your memory card to the photo lab and
have them make prints from the files. This can be done on
regular type C paper now. Because of the price of memory cards,
I don't think it is feasable to own a digital camera without a
computer to download the memory cards to.
