A couple of weeks ago I posted this regarding my current experience with
Pentax USA LX repairs:

I called today because yesterday was two weeks, in order to check the
status of the repair. The gentleman I talked to told me that the repair had
been approved on 1/25/01 (which I already knew) and that the camera was
with a technician. And that it would be the normal 3-4 weeks for the
repair. When I told him that I was told 2 weeks for the repair the day I
gave the credit card authorization he started hemming and hawing but not
making any sounds recognizable as words, apparently searching for an
excuse. I laughed, wished him a good day, and hung up. Hopefully the body
will show up here in a couple of weeks.
