Amen, William and Ken.
It all comes down to how the glass pins those photons down. Contax and
Pentax seem consistently to have the most soul in their glass (to my eyes).
As long as the box that enables the film and the lens to do the voodoo they
do so well is reasonably affordable and not unduly offensive to the hand,
I'm willing to put up with the shortcomings, when there are any.
